Zookoda nominated for CSS World Awards

According to Gabriel Segura, Founder of CSS Mania "The CSS World Awards recognize the work done by developers that build websites using CSS and to heighten the awareness of the companies using Web Standards". Segura Founded CSS Mania in March 2004 as he loafed around the few CSS Showcases that existed during that time.
The CSS World Awards has ten categories. In each category ten websites have been nominated for awards. From each category one Winner and two finalists will be announced. The awarded sites will be announced at the beginning of July 2006.
Zookoda has made the short list out of a total entry pool of 3245 sites submitted to CSS Mania from May 2005 to May 2006. Commenting on the nomination Yorke Hinds lead designer and developer of Zookoda said "It's flattering to be nominated for this award. We put a lot of time and energy into the design and usability aspects of Zookoda and it's nice to have that hard work recognized". Commenting on the nomination Nick McNaughton, Co-Founder Zookoda said "I always said in the past that Zookoda was not just a pretty face that it had really rich functionality - I guess with this nomination we can say we have a pretty face too!"
